Hey Kiwi Lane peeps!
Gail here and I have a little layout to share with you today.
Waaaay back in October I shared a post that included making flowers for a wreath. Remember that? It’s okay if you don’t. You can always head over HERE to refresh your memory. Anyway, I made more flowers than I ended up using and those flowers have been shuffled around on my desk, waiting for the right project to come along and include them. Well, after months of waiting patiently, two of the three found a home! They now live on this layout that I made using my Kiwi Lane templates and the Homespun collection from Simple Stories:
The reds and yellows of my flowers fit perfectly with this beautiful collection! Here’s what it looked like while I was framing my page:
Notice, I just threw my finished flowers right in with my framing instead of adding templates to represent them. This actually helped me see the colors and keep them balanced as I was choosing the papers to cut, trace, ink and replace my templates as I built my layout. Here’s a little close up view of my flowers:
It was so much fun to Play to Create this layout! I hope you enjoyed it, too! Don’t forget to share with us what you Play to Create- leave a comment on this blog post with a link to your project, or share with us on social media (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram). We love it when you share!!
