Susan BudgeSomething Festive For Spring

I love making banners for my wreath using the designer templates. But instead of using paper, I used some felt, burlap and fabric. Making it a little more durable. felt, burlap and fabric

For my banner itself I used the Tag Accessory set, which any of the designs would work. I cut the tags for my banner out of my burlap sheets. Then I used Tiny Springtime for my layers. Adding some buttons and ribbon to finish them up.

After I had each one designed, trace and cut out, I used some hot glue to adhere each layer to the tag banner.

Then between my tags, I created these super cute carrots using some felt and burlap sheets again. For these I used Celebrate 6 as the carrot and half of Tiny Explore 6T for the top .

I cut out two Celebrate 6 out of the orange felt, and then sewed the edges together. I did not turn it inside out, just kept it as it was. Then stuffed the inside with some cotton balls.

Sewed up the top with some string and attached the top with a button. Sewing them all together.

Finished it off by hot gluing some string to the bag of each of them, and then adding it to my wreath on my door! HAPPY SPRING!
