Carefree Layout Kit for EastershilohI feel like I am always playing catch up when it comes to scrapbooking holidays! I think I tend to take too many photos and can never find enough paper to get them all done. These pictures are from a church Easter Egg hunt from a few years ago. I have pulled these out multiple times to scrapbook but never had the right paper for them…until now!

Our Carefree paper line was completely perfect for them! I LOVE all of the spring colors in this line! But I also love that I can use this same layout kit to create pages with themes other than Springtime or Easter. With all of the patterns and a few really fun Title options I have already made several different layouts with this same kit!

For My Easter layout I wanted to go for a simple beauty. To achieve this I let the colors and patterns of this gorgeous paper line do a lot of the talking, drawing on the Tiny Shapes set to add the Easter-themed embellishments to my page. This simple set is a really great way to add some quintessential Easter shapes to your scrapbook page, like the Easter eggs and the bunny on my layout.

The bunny is a simple combination of three of those shapes. Below you can see the Designer Templates that I used to make up the bunny on my page. The circle that I used for the head of the bunny ended up being a perfect place to add some journaling about this special Easter memory.Bunny

I hope you enjoy our new Carefree Layout Kit as much as I have have! Please remember to share your creations so that we can all be inspired together!
