Happy 12th Day of Christmas to you all! I think I’m a little bit sad at the fact that the 12 Days are wrapping up, even though it has been a ton of prep and coordination! Always sad to see the end of something so inspiring come to an end. (Even though we have TONS of inspiring ideas right around the corner). ;)

To finish things up we decided it would be fun to give a little piece of our holiday traditions to one of you. I created this fun little recipe book featuring 10 holiday favorite foods from the Kiwi Crew and members of the upcoming 2013 Design Team.

Here’s all you need to do to win this tasty little treat. Simply leave a comment on your blog letting us know what your favorite holiday indulgence is by Friday, December 14th at 11:59 pm MST and I will choose a random winner to announce on the blog next week.

I really had a great time putting this book together and used the following templates and the Echo Park Everybody Loves Christmas collection:

  • Abbie Road Mini 1A, 1B, 2A and 3B
  • Paisley Place Mini 1B and 2B
  • Adorn 1B
  • Bracket 1
  • Winter 2
  • Christmas 1, 2 and 4
  • Holiday 1T, 3T, 6T, 7T and 8T

Here are a few samples of the recipes from the Kiwi Crew. (Gotta keep the Design Team under wraps until Friday, so their recipes will be an added surprise bonus for the lucky winner!)

We here at Kiwi Lane genuinely wish you and yours a very….

And don’t ever forget the number one rule around the holidays….

I’ll just shout out one last reminder of our holiday sale going on right now. Tell Santa if he wants to get 15% off in the Kiwi Lane shop, he simply needs to enter the promotion code merrychristmas15 at checkout. This promotion ends today so don’t delay!

My favorite indulgence is English toffee. So good!
Every year I do holiday baking and wrap it all in clear bags. I then hand them out to friends and family.
I just did it last weekend. I like to do it a little early because we all get so many treat at Christmas. This way, it’s spread out a little.
This year I made Toffee, cupcakes, peanut butter balls, rice krispy treats, fudge and cookie dough chocolate dipped lollipops.

That receipe book is adorable. I might actually be able to get my recipes organized. My special thing that I like to make is an old German cookie recipe. Only make it once a year.

  11. Phyllis F. December 12, 2012 at 5:26 pm

I love the receipe book. I have lost most of the people in my family that are close. It is just my younger brother and I from our generation. We keep the rest of our family in the minds of the younger generation by cooking all the special dishes that each relative was known for. We have Mom’s potatoe salad, Grandma;s Texas sheet cake, Aunt Gayles scalloped corn, etc. We are starting to add the receipes of the new generation as people start asking for new dishes to be done again. Sounds goofy, but we all love it!
